Is there seriously no way of transferring a completed subject to another degree/diploma?

I'm currently in the process of taking up a diploma of languages concurrently with my bachelor of arts. As its stands, everything works out perfectly, but to appease the 50-point maximum of cross-credited subjects, I need to move one more class from my BA to my DIP-Lang. The only subject I can do this with is one I am currently completing this semester, however when I asked a student advisor how I would be able to transfer its credits to my diploma, they told me it simply wasn't possible outside of cross-crediting.

This is a really frustrating situation as it throws a spanner in the rest of my course plan, over something seemingly as simple as a subject transfer. Has anyone else had experience in dealing with this? I know I already have been given an answer, but I'd like to talk to someone else to really confirm that there's no possible way of transferring my credits. Any advice?

Would you recommend studying in the UK for a post-grad in Ancient History? And, if so, what, universities would you recommend?

Hi all! I’m from Australia, and am currently studying an undergraduate degree in ancient history. Ideally, I would like to become an Egyptologist in the future, however Australia doesn’t really offer any postgrad courses in that field. I was looking at studying internationally instead, but seeing as I don’t speak a second language and have absolutely ruled out travelling to the US, it seems that the UK is one of my only options.

So, onto my question, does anyone have any recommendations of unis to look into, or any words of advice for my search? I would like to find a place where a scholarship would potentially be available, because I definitely don’t have enough cash to study at Oxford or some place like that.

I’ve been receiving Youth Allowance for around two years but a few days ago I randomly got an email saying that it was cancelled because I ‘have not reported’. I tried looking back in my inbox to see if I was warned about this but I couldn’t find anything, and to be honest I don’t even know what I was meant to report because I’m unemployed and don’t have an income (which they already know).

I just tried to launch a new claim but best case scenario I’ll miss out on a month of payments for this. Is there any way I could email someone to ask what went wrong? This is all very confusing and Centrelink’s lack of communication isn’t helping.
