Looking for RVDS 4.1 / ARM Compiler Toolchain for an old C++ Symbian project

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on an old C++ project related to Symbian/S60, and I need RVDS 4.1 to build/compile the project using the older ARM toolchain.

I've found copies of RVDS 4.1 Suite Service Pack 2 and ARM Compiler Toolchain v4.1 online, but the installers require a license, and I don't know where I can legitimately obtain one anymore.

If anyone still has a complete RVDS 4.1 installer, or an old installer + license that they no longer use, I'd really appreciate it if you could share it with me.

I'm mainly looking to use it for building an old C++/Symbian project, not for commercial use.

If you know of an official download, archive, or any legitimate way to obtain/activate RVDS 4.1 today, I'd also really appreciate any information.

How can I make MiniCMD run automatically after flashing a cooked ROM on Nokia E72?

Hi everyone,

I'm cooking a custom firmware for my Nokia E72 (S60v3 FP2) and I'm trying to integrate MiniCMD directly into the ROM.

The application is already cooked into the ROM successfully. After flashing, its icon appears normally and I can launch it manually without any problems.

However, what I'm trying to achieve is having MiniCMD execute automatically after the first boot, without requiring the user to tap its icon.

I've searched through old Symbian forums, but I haven't found a clear explanation of how this was originally done.

If you've successfully integrated MiniCMD into a cooked ROM, I'd really appreciate hearing how you did it.
