UK mileage app beta — looking for uk testers who frequently drive
Hey everyone,
I’m building an Android app called DriverMile and I’m looking for UK drivers to help beta test it.
It’s built for people who drive for work and need clean mileage records, claim estimates and accountant-ready reports — not just another basic GPS tracker.
I’ve focused heavily on making the tracking reliable without hammering the battery. The app uses adaptive tracking so it avoids constant GPS checks when you’re stationary, helps prevent overnight/random tracking, and focuses on capturing real journeys.
Current features include:
- automatic journey tracking
- adaptive low-power tracking when stationary
- business/personal journey classification
- work schedule based auto-classification
- multiple vehicles
- mileage claim estimates
- UK tax-year reports
- PDF/CSV exports
- Tax Hub for fixing issues before export
- journey review before export
- missed journey scanner
- receipt and odometer evidence
- PIN/biometric lock
- tracking health checks
- low battery usage tracking
It should be useful for delivery drivers, couriers, multi-drop drivers, tradespeople, field workers, sales reps and anyone regularly claiming business mileage.
I’ve been testing it myself for around a month and the tracking system is working better than expected, but I want feedback from real drivers before opening it up properly.
I’m especially interested in:
- whether the tracking feels reliable
- whether the battery usage feels reasonable
- whether the Tax Hub/reports would help with records or accountants
- what people who drive for work actually need from a mileage app
- what would make this worth using daily
No earnings posts or spam — just looking for honest beta testers and feedback.
If anyone wants to try it, comment or DM me and I’ll send the beta link when the test opens.
