Best model to get? First time buyer...
This is unknown territory for me having never owned an Xbox of any make or model, so I appreciate both any help and patience for a newbie.
I know the only way I'm going to go about getting an Xbox 360 now is obviously eBay, or something similar. So is there anything to look out for that's just a red flag when buying a used 360 from a seller, be it on eBay, Craigslist, or even grabbing one at GameStop, which I care to avoid. I just don't want to buy one that's like crapped out, and you could have told if you knew this one detail about it.
Did very little in the way of research, but definitely would appreciate any manufacturer dates to look out for, just to make picking out a good one easier.
Also, if you could suggest any games, go for it. I'm mainly going to be getting Halo 1-4 and Reach with it, might grab a few exclusive platformers and RPGs I've missed out on over the years, but very much open to suggestions.
Lastly, thank you in advance for putting up with a long-winded person's first foray into the Xbox world, and I appreciate any and all help.
