[No Spoilers] About the Halovars.
What does everyone think are the chances that Wick will be able to turn more of his family against Yanessa and the Creed? As we are getting closer to the next arc in campaign 4, my mind has been wondering more and more on how our new Schemers are going to go about things in Dol-Makjar, most notably Wick as the implication from Brennan was that Yanessa would be keeping him closer to her more than ever before. So we all know there is an almost certainty that Wick and Tyranny will have plenty of interactions with the other members of house Halovar.
Now I'm sure many of us, myself included, hope that most-if not all, of the remaining sundered houses burn to the ground and their endeavors become dust in the wind, but I am also of the opinion that maybe not every member needs to be deposed or killed. In the Halovar's case and giving how Sam has being playing Wick, even as he is becoming a more hardened individual, I can't see him as willing to kill the rest of his family with the exception of Yanessa unless there was no other option. In this next arc, I think more than anything we see from Wick aside from undermining the Candescent Creed will be him trying to pull his family away from this grandmother. But that also leaves the question, who would he be able to convert or more than likely turn into a neutral party?
Iris and Lioran are obviously the most likely candidates as both are only devout members of the creed and not privy to the inner workings of the Halovars. They seem to be good people, even if just several shades shy of being considered zealots, so at the very least I would hope that Wick would be able to save them in the incoming conflict. Filoneus, I could be see as another potential person to convert as there have already been multiple instances of Brennan throwing hints out that though he's clearly a momma's boy and drank the Kool-Aid for a bit too long, he can be reasoned with if given a strong impression. If Sam can work his golden boy magic on him, I could see Filoneus swearing fealty to him so long as Yanessa wasn't openly killed by them.
Godard and Zabani would clearly be the most difficult for different reasons. Given the nature of his birth and how little we've seen him interact with Wick, Godard is the biggest wildcard of the whole family. We see that he at least seems to have a somewhat positive relationship with his son and has a good amount of faith in Wick, but until we get more from him I can't say how it would play out with him. Zabani though, yeah she can be thrown off the top of the villa aurora for all I care. With how cruel, envious, and resentful she is, the only way I see her being pulled away is if Wick breaks her with a very passionate nat 20 speech about him adoring her when they were children and how she's turned into an utter monster. Other than that though, I'm pretty sure she's a solid number 2 on the executioner's block after Yanessa.
