Coming from a ‘22 Outback Premium. Test drove a Trailseeker yesterday and we’re basically sold on the car itself.
The one thing holding us back: we do 2-3 road trips a year that are 1000+ miles each. YouTube and review coverage on Trailseeker road tripping has been pretty sparse so far, which makes sense since it’s a new car without the hype of some other EV launches. Hoping to hear from actual owners.
Main question: am I going to be frustrated with charging speed on those trips?
Specifics I’d love input on:
• Real-world range at 75-80 mph with AC and a full load
• DC fast charging experience on actual trip routes (planning headaches? chargers that let you down?)
• Are you stopping more often than biology says you need to?
• Seat comfort and cabin noise after 6+ hours
• Any trips where charging genuinely soured the experience, or has it been a non-issue?
Everything else about the car looks great, this is the last piece for us. Appreciate any honest takes.
