What do Lithuanians actually do when it rains all the time?

I feel like in Lithuania, there are so many rainy or grey days. Do people just naturally spend more time at home, or do you still go out and do things like normal? I’m curious how locals adapt to it because weather definitely seems to shape lifestyle here.

Does anyone else feel like šaltibarščiai became insanely overcapitalized in the last few years?

Today I literally saw toilet paper with šaltibarščiai packaging on it and just thought: what stage of capitalism are we even in anymore 😭

Vilnius feels more Western European than some Western European cities now?

I’ve lived in Lithuania for over 5 years now and honestly Vilnius feels cleaner, safer, and more modern than some Western European cities people hype up constantly. Am I crazy for thinking this or do others feel the same?
