Twilight Sparkle
Finished up my Twilight Sparkle figure. I like how the pony part came out overall I think, but I had just a hard time with the decals on the human version this time.
I've been really struggling with the Decal Fix seeming to change the color of the paint underneath (on the pony flank) that I tried to go without for a few of them (human model) this time and it ended terribly lol. Using a coat of gloss varnish really helped with the color change issue on the human part but the damage of not having fixer was already done lol. After a few failures I tried a diluted fixer and that seemed to work a lot better and not give me those color altering issues, though honestly I was prolly the gloss varnish that fixed it (I forgot to use gloss on the pony part, stupid I know).
Year 4 of painting GK, mostly printed ones. Third time using decals, 99% of them before this have been eye decals.
