We've been working on integrating DJI Enterprise drones directly into ATAK and have now launched our integrated DroneControl Flight App and ATAK plugin, both available through our website.

The idea is to keep things simple for the pilot: fly the drone, connect to the TAK server, stream encrypted low-latency video and share drone location/telemetry without needing a separate RTSP gateway or VPN.

We've also implemented remote control from ATAK and sharing POIs/markers between the drone operator and TAK users.

Next on our roadmap is bringing more TAK markers/CoTs directly into the flight app.

Would be really interested to hear how others are currently integrating drones into TAK and what features you see as most important.
