Suppose i were to alternate between bleeding my trans fluid thru the return line & manually topping up into the transmission pan, say in 2quart increments until the fluid coming out clears up bright red. Then finishing up with a level check at the right temp

Being some kind of middle ground between the standard drain-fill-circulate & using a fluid exchange machine to push fluid through the system, this essentially still a flush right?

Any cons to doing it this way?
