Hey all, I just scored a great deal on this Studio and I’m thinking about swapping the pickups. Most of my experience has been with ’70s SGs or Les Pauls with P-90s, so I’m used to that dynamic.

Right now I’m considering either Lollar Imperial Low Winds or a used set of Custombuckers I found. I’m not super experienced with humbuckers, so I’d really appreciate any thoughts or recommendations.

Also maybe a rec for how to get that dumb #1 that someone carved in out of the surface. I’m embracing the patina black player guitar, so I don’t care if wood gets exposed.
