2011 x5 Xdrive35i overheating?
The past two days I’ve noticed my fan kicks on(high) intermittently for a second or two every like 15-30 seconds while driving with the ac on . Today on my way to work I noticed the fan was more consistent and the fan then stayed on for about 10 seconds I tuned off the a/c and the blower motor , yet it was still kicking on and off intermittently. I turned on the heater and it was working fine . After work I moved my vehicle from work parking to park on the street , my fan immediately turned on high after 30s of moving the car to street parking . My car currently has 104k miles. I have checked the coolant and the level is between min and max . Any ideas on where to start looking . I am a technician my self , although I am new to the bmw world .
