My 3080 is on its last legs and I’m so tempted to get a 5080 but I know I’ll regret it when the ti or super version comes out and knowing my luck it will right after I finally buy one. The extra performance and v ram would make it such a nice card if it ran maybe 20% better. Hoping for an msrp of $1250-$1500 which will mean I’ll get it for $1750 4 months after launch if I’m lucky. All this waiting is getting me ancy. I’m so close to pulling the trigger on 5080 and hope the v ram doesn’t screw me in 2-3 years.

Does anyone now how to fix this and is it being caused by using dlss 4.0 (preset k)? I’m monitoring the vram with afterburner and in 1440p dlss quality it starts around 6.5gb ram on high but every 5 minutes it will rise about .5gb until it gets so high it starts stuttering and fps drops. I have to restart every 20 or so minutes. I’ve never seen a game with this bad of a memory leak. Surely there’s gotta be a way to solve this but I see they haven’t updated the game since early 2023 so maybe not.

Bought it two days ago and having a blast. Honestly worried I’m gonna beat it too soon as I’ve only died to each biome boss 1 time tops and I think I’m at the end of act 1. Judging by returnal this would be the final biome I would think but I know that can’t be true based on how many bosses are left in trophies and that there seems to be 3 acts. So I’m on a very good run right now in the desecrated fortress where I just finished the nightmare strand with ease and assume this will lead to the end of the act if I beat the boss. Really hoping act 2 is just as long at least. I heard it’s a 20 hour game and I’ve only played like 10 hours tops and really take my time but I can’t help that I’m not dying a ton like I did in returnal lol I’m garbage at aiming on controller as well as I mainly play pc with mouse and keyboard.

I just bought this yesterday and on 3rd biome. It just randomly froze. I let it sit there for 5 minutes before closing app. Luckily I didn’t lose progress and it let me back in. This is the first time I’ve used my ps5 in quite awhile so I’m hoping something isn’t wrong with it. I’ve had crashes to home page before but nothing like this. Any way to potentially keep it from happening again?

I just finished LaD and my lord that game was so good and I’m not even a turn based guy. This and persona 5 were the only recent games like this that I thoroughly enjoyed. There are a few issues I have and I’m wondering if the sequel improves. One gripe I have is not being able to change jobs on the fly. Constantly running back to the office to change jobs was a bit annoying. End game stuff was insanely challenging while the first 90% was too easy. I feel like it could be more balanced but the mechanics in the game are great. Some of the part time hero jobs were a slog to attempt like taking out 10 of each group I ended up ditching because I’d spend an hour running through a district just to finish a thing for 10,000 yen. Also, I wish there was a bit more variety with builds. More magic abilities would be nice because it feels like 90% of moves are physical and rarely felt necessary to use support moves until the very end. These are by no means deal breakers as I loved the game thoroughly but does the sequel make any of these things better and how about combat in general?

I’m new to the Yakuza series but always thought it seemed cool. Started yakuza like a dragon and the story is so damn good after just two chapters. I’m completely sucked in. I rarely ever care about stories in games no matter how much I try to force myself to but this one is so interesting out the gate. I haven’t been able to put it down all night. Do all the games have good story telling and compelling characters like this? I feel like I should put it down and start with zero and catch up on the lore but it will take me forever to play all the old games lol definitely on my to do list now though.

I keep running low on vram in games lately with my 10gb rtx 3080. I don’t think my pc has an igpu and if it does I’m not completely sure how to check. I’m on windows 11 and use 4k 120hz tv with HDR on generally and I noticed turning hdr off dropped the number .2 but maybe it was just a random dip. HDR is worth the .2 though. What else could be causing this? I’ve looked online and it says apps like discord, Spotify, Firefox etc and I have all those apps but they aren’t running. I’ve already made sure my pc doesn’t boot up unnecessary apps at start up so unless these apps are borrowing storage while not in use I’m not sure what it could be. I ran nvidia -sim I believe it was. Can’t remember exact thing in my head but it just showed 1500/10000 and all values underneath seemed to be at zero. There’s no gpu usage in background. It’s all just shared. Gotta be someway to free up this ram right?

I really would like an answer. I posted earlier an no response and I’m kind of freaked out that I won’t have insurance until July 1st due to a glitch in NYSOH website and nobody is open for phone calls. I was Informed I was no longer eligible for essential plan and needed to find coverage by July 1st when it runs out. Today was the first day I was allowed to start looking for new coverage to prevent gaps. I clicked on the start app and decided I should wait for another time so I backed out and my enrollment page said I no longer had any insurance??? How does that make any sense? So I figured I needed to do the application and somehow got approved for Medicaid starting July 1st because I was laid off and making half of what I used to currently. Now the page does say I have Medicaid starting July 1st but nowhere does it say I’m still in enrolled in the essential plan as I should be. I’m freaked out and it’s hard waiting until Monday for answers and I can’t go over a month without insurance because of some silly glitch because I have lots of ailments that require frequent dr visits. I never chose to cancel anything.. only thing I looked up was sometimes when opening an application it can throw off the system and show that you have no insurance.. still doesn’t explain why it doesn’t show both essential plan and Medicaid through my current enrollment page now that it was submitted. No inbox messages confirming anything about termination. Am I freaking out over nothing?

A bit worried I lost my current insurance. I had to apply for new insurance and today was the day to start as I no longer qualify for essential plan in NY starting 7/1. I filled the application and because I had a massive paycut this year and looking for work my annual income was low enough to be accepted for Medicaid through same insurance company. What’s worrying is the site didn’t send me anything in the inbox and under current plans it only shows that I have Medicaid starting 7/1. Nothing about my current plan that I have. All customer service lines are down for the weekend and I’m afraid I may have canceled my essential plan during the application process somehow.. even though I didn’t click anything to terminate it. It even showed as enrolled in essential plan directly before starting application. Should I be worried or is this normal to only show my upcoming change to insurance but not the one I’m still enrolled in for the next month and a half?
