I have a small home network here in the UK. Community Fibre. Modem and wireless router in the middle room of my house.

I run a cat 6 cable from the white box on my wall 5 or 6 meters into a splitter with 4 ports. Two of these run to wireless boosters on different floors of my house. One runs into a PS5 about 6 or 7 meters away from the splitter.

The wired connection to the PS5 is getting ridiculously low download speed around 8 mbs, while wirelessly, the same PS5 is picking up speeds of up to 500mbs.

Where am I going wrong with my wired connection? The cables are all Cat 6.
