Finally done

Finally done

After around a year, I finally finished the wheel of time saga.

What an amazing way to close such a series.

Amazing book. Top 3 with a crown of sword and the great hunt imo.

If anything, I feel like I'd need a reread of at least the Eye of the world just to appreciate it a bit more, now that I'm not lost learning every name, places, monsters etc..

Also, I would have appreciated if we had a little bit more of what happens to the characters after the epilogue

Does Perrin becomes a king with Faile?

Are the black and white tower fully reconciliated and about to work together?

Is Rand gonna be an absent father

Is Shara gonna pose a problem in the future? What did the last Battle cost, how are they gonna rebuild?

I know it's part of the series of why we don't know so much about before the breaking.. But I would have loved to know more about it.

So Many questions unanswered.

Also would have wished that a bit more of the early shenanigans came back, like that stone that rand and loial (and hurin? ) touched that transported them in a full of trollocs world, the one where they found Lanfear I think?

Still, amazing series that Robert Jordan created, and Brandon Sanderson managed to write a majestic finale to it.

Now I'm off to reading/beginning malazan, or re-reading red rising depending on Red God's release date. I need to fill "the void" WoT has left me

Just finished chapter 37.

I don't like where this is going. It has gone so differently than what I thought. I thought we'd lose a few characters here and there but that globally Matt's strategy would work out. So many deaths.

We better have some crazy magic boom boom stuff that brings everyone back to life. I know it's not supposed to be possible to bring back the deads but come on.

Anyway, on my way toward the end..
