Cylinder 2 misfire help!!!
Hi all! I would greatly appreciate any guidance of my issue
I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6l with only 52k miles
I was having a cylinder 2 misfire. I had a bad camshaft exhaust side. Lobe on cylinder 2 was bad and rocker was bad as well.
Replaced camshaft and rocker/lifters. STILL MISFIRING😫 replaced the spark plug and injector while in there. And STILL misfiring…
I was checking the misfire counter on my scanner. The misfire counter was only going up on idle. When I would rev even just a little bit it, it would stop misfiring and the counter stops….
He also moved the coil pack to rule that out
What would cause a misfire only at idle?? Unfortunately my mechanic didn’t do another compression test after fixing it all.. but before spending more money is there anyone with similar issue ?
