I have recently seen both these series and here are my thoughts.

How to become a tyrant is a six part docu series with a brilliant narration by peter dinklage where all episodes deal with more and more successful tyrants around the world from hitler to stalin and even the kim dynasty of north korea. It’s a very insightful series that establishes a pattern to how tyranny progresses..

Mussolini on the other hand is an Italian series about the rise to power of Benito Mussolini often credited with the creation of fascism. It is a very visceral first person narration with mussolini speaking directly to the camera many times and it tells you just how the people play a huge role in the rise of fundamentally wrong ideas in a society. Mussolini is an extremely detailed document of the origins of Italian fascist movement and its every bit as chilling as it is supposed to be.

Highly recommend both the series!!
