I accept bad writing, Jeremy not being very good at his job, and intentionally annoying characters.
What are some movies that appear as one continuous shot?
What are some movies you wish didn’t have narration?
I’m looking for movies that have good scenes with cats, big or small. Cats that are personified as humans don’t count.
This list is inspired by nothing in particular. Totally not in response to a new movie that kind of upset me way too early in its run time.
I'm personally really digging this decade so far!
Just wanted to share my 4 recents. They're a little out of the ordinary for the films I usually watch, but I think they're all very special and resonated with me. And for those who haven't yet watched Obsession, you HAVE TO see it in theaters. Absolutely loved it, a must-watch for fans of horror or those who want to see the best (in my humble opinion) movie of 2026 so far.
Ranked by how much I enjoyed watching altogether
Some I think are great concepts that didn’t quite come together, some fully disappointed me. Some I see the appeal but it is just NOT for me at all
Tell me what movies are like that for yall I wanna know
Welcome to my contest for the favorite of the first 10 Pixar films. I think the first 10 are very popular and classical so,I'm hosting this contest to make a music video compilation to count down from 10 to 1. So get your voting game up!
Okay now with that out of the way, a couple of notes before we get started:
To play this contest you must vote how much you like the first 10 Pixar films.(the photo above).
Which ever movie gets about to the most votes is the winner and will best best Pixar film of all the ten.
Here's a few rules to make this work:
I think that’s about it, just remember to be as civil as possible about it and leave your votes in the comments because I know there’s gonna be some debates about this so let’s try to be as friendly as possible because this is a friendly contest.
Okay the voting will begin now! Have fun!
(I’m a teenager so I’m ovs a bit basic)
This screenshot is from my Letterboxd list of movies that I randomly stumbled across on the Criterion Channel over the last 5 or so years and ended up absolutely loving. A lot of these feel like genuinely underseen gems that I probably never would’ve found otherwise.
What are some underseen gems you’ve discovered through streaming services? Tell me in the replies — I’m always looking for more.
Updated ‘Get To Know Me List’ updated for this year. Was wondering what vibe you get. (And for funsies, let’s compare and contrast from my previous)
I've started enjoying films again, but I see myself at a dead end, Idk what else to watch, every time I open my watchlist I get either bored or overwhelmed. Please help me pick some more films

Edit 1: Thanks everyone for being nice
