Everything I watched in September, ranked!
pretty slow month for me, but i did watch some great movies!

both of these posters are fairly simple but visually striking, and they represent their respective films pretty perfectly. what are your picks?
i love movies that explore sexual themes and dynamics, but i don't always want to watch people do it. some of my favorites are movies like sex, lies, and videotape and challengers. i hope this makes sense. any recs?
maybe this is a dumb question, as i'm fairly new to the whole oscars discussion community, but i don't get why tony isn't being talked about, like, at all. i thought it was a great movie with great performances, and it was a total crowdpleaser. it was very technically well-made, and there was a lot of emotional depth to it. is it just too strong of a year? was the release too quiet? i'm genuinely curious what people think.
over the past few weeks, i've been getting really into ntb and matt johnson's other works. i saw tony this weekend, so here's my mostly completed ranking!
only films he directed!
not including his short films, because i've only seen a couple.
make assumptions, give recommendations, share your own, etc!
this is a discussion as old as time, but i just wanted to get my two cents in there. some sequels i personally think are better than their predecessors!
*note that there are a couple of movies on the "least favorite" side that i do actually like! there were just slim pickings for those letters
very rarely do i see two movies in one day, let alone twice in a row. i almost saw one night only on the morning of the 15th but ended up sleeping through my showtime. pretty successful weekend!
everyone is entitled to a few bad opinions
what are some of your favorites?
note that this is according to what i've logged on letterboxd, which i've been on since march 2023.
feel free to make assumptions, guess my age, recommend films, etc.!

one of the best i've had in a while. i've been watching a lot of 3.5s lately so this was a nice change of pace
these are my top 12 of the ones i've seen so far (not a lot). i've been watching more 70s movies lately and really enjoying them. also feel free to judge me lol!
this is a trope that i personally find very interesting, so i'd like to put together a list and get some recs!
some movies that i considered adding but was unsure if they'd count: blink twice (2024), fresh (2022), and skincare (2024)
made a list like this about a year and a half ago but wanted to update it since i'd seen some more great movies since. what are some of your favorites from this decade?
