very rarely do i see two movies in one day, let alone twice in a row. i almost saw one night only on the morning of the 15th but ended up sleeping through my showtime. pretty successful weekend!

i tend to space out during long action sequences, so i've avoided a lot of superhero movies for that reason. what i've learned, though, is that a lot of superhero movies actually have some really interesting world building and character work leading up to those action sequences! recommend me any more you think i'd like!
note: suddenly realizing that the title is possibly a little misleading? i've probably seen something like 40-50 "superhero" movies now, but i used to avoid them for the reasons above. i've just recently started getting into them!
