Started with the OG trilogy on PS1 back when I was a kid and have loved the franchise ever since. The top five games on this list are among my favorite games of all time and I at least somewhat enjoyed every game except for the bottom 8 or so.

Please note that this is my favorite game per franchise, not series, so Mario Kart 8 is my favorite overall Mario game and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic is my favorite overall Star Wars game.

It had to be broken up into multiple screenshots because the tier list was so long. Sorry about that.

I think we should talk about how wack the genre tags are on the site. Demon’s Souls remake a brawler? Dark Messiah of Might and Magic a fighter? Yakuza 2 a sport game? I love the site, but man the genre feature really needs some work. Where even is the horror tag?
