I lost my U.S. passport and I have international travel in 17 days. I’m planning on calling as soon as I hit the 14-day window to try to get an urgent passport appointment.

I’m a U.S. citizen but I wasn’t born in the U.S., so I’m getting nervous after reading a bunch of stories online about delays and extra paperwork. Has anyone been through something similar and still gotten their passport in time?
