Bhai 2024 se pehle jab neet leak nhi hota tha ya may be itna mass level pe nhi hota tha toh even 300 marks pe b 3.8 lakh ya 4 lakh rank aa jati thi

Aur jabse neet 2024 itna leak hua hai jismai 300 pe b 6 lakh rank aayi thi

Aur phir neet 2025 itna zayada mushkil tha usmai b neet 2023 se zayada cut off gyi thi neeche ke scores mai and re neet 2026 mai bhi rank inflation toh hua hi hai 🥀jabki 2023 mai candidates b same level ke participate kiye the aur paper itna easyyy thaaa!!

Hiii seniorsss 🥹..i am from punjab and i might get a college in dehradun !

I'm an only daughter of my parents and very attached to my home ( every person is attached to their home though I'm not special I know that 😂) ..but i get homesick very easily 🥹

I want atleast I come to my home 4 days every month

Like from Friday (after completing classes) if I take a flight - I'll get Saturday and Sunday to spend with my family and then I'll take flight on Monday ..

So i have to miss the college on Saturday and Monday!

So basically I have to miss my college 4 days every month!

Is this realistic?? 🥹 Please be kind thought.. I'm new to all this ! 😂 I don't know if I'm sounding delusional

( first of all I'm really sorry to post this here may be it can come as a negative post somehow but I couldn't find any other way to take opinions because this is the only sub that knows more about dentistry and colleges than others) ...BUT STILL SORRY FOR THIS POST 🥲

can't get mbbs and i know that no govt jobs and over saturation thing in bds plus the large amount of money to open a clinic is also a factor 🥲

Also punjab doesn't have any good bds colleges at all ... literally no patient flow , no clinical exposure even jo Ludhiana aur amristar ka dental college hai voh bhi sirf internet pe paid reviews hai ..in reality acha nhi hai vo college

Aur unke ilawa baki ke dental colleges punjab mai toh hai hi bhot bekar because unke toh google pe bhi reviews nhi hai

South Indian colleges are good because national ranking bhi hai clinical exposure bhi hai and being a girl apni state ( punjab ) se bhhar jane mai bhi daar lag raha hai may be family bhi nhi manegi

What should I do then?😭

Mbbs nhi milegi toh mene BDS ke bare mai bhi sabh dekha ..sari search Kari aur mostly sabhi jagah yehi keh rhe hai that professors are toxic , baat baat pe humiliate kar dete hai , frustrated hote hai

Also ki BDS mai ye practical work pata nhi kya ye cement se kuch banao phir wax se kuch banao aisa work hota hai jo professors se sign karwana hota hai and pass hone ke liye important hota hai aur usmai bhi professors kafi attitude dikhate hai ...baar baar apka practical work reject kar dete hai !

If anyone is thinking about BDS and knows about the scenarios of these dental colleges... please let me know

So I'm a female and have always been single but like everybody I used to have crushes on people

Now I don't even take interest in no one in my dental college even though when i was about to enter the med college, I've heard so many things that how fast people come in a relationship in medical College and all 😂😭

Not having a crush at all is not a problem for me though but the way I'm co-relating a different issue with that is a problem to me

So I wanted a different dental college that is near to my hometown also in a vibrant city but i got a dental college that was away from my hometown and that city is also not very developed it's just only developed in terms of medical colleges / hospitals and all ...this city have nowhere to travel though

And I feel like all this isolation, homesickness made me just very disinterested in everything

To be honest I feel like ... I'm just dealing with this life somehow by compromises instead of living this life joyfully! Everyday I wake up instead of feeling refreshed I feel more of depressed & idk how to deal with all these emotions

Since then, there’s a senior “A”. During seniors’ intro she just asked ( my name and hobby). But a month later she randomly came to me and started helping with syllabus and books without me asking...i thought may be it's her helping nature

After that she got really nice to me specifically ( and we have no bond ) but still in 1-2°C winters she’d bring coffee from the canteen — (JUST FOR ME)

Once at 2am she even DM’d my IG profile to me (she took screenshot of it ) saying “you kinda look like Aneet Padda haha.” I just replied “ohh really? haha” but it felt weird to me😐...

We don’t have any bond and I’ve never done her a favour to her

She’s beautiful, quite rich with a doctor's family legacy, and a distinction holder...(So she doesn't need me for anything Right?)

I genuinely don’t get why she’s being so extra nice to (AND I HAVE NOTICED IT IS JUST TO ME)

And i don't know if I'm overthinking or my Confusion is valid ? Because when we don't have a bond , when I don't do anything for you ...why are you being so nice to me ??

I am 19F and no where near mbbs cut off and i won't be getting that, also i thought that i would at least get BDS college that is quite near to my district but due to inflation in ranks, I won't be getting that also

I might get a dental college that is away from my city...i have a pet dog shih-tzu and he is very attached to me, even though everyone in my family takes care of him, loves him

But He is like more clingy to me & more loving to me

I can't cope up with the fact that, once I leave my city for college (also for that college which is not my choice)..

How will my pet dog feel and he will search for me! All the things have become so uncertain and

i know I can't change these circumstances, but the sorrow of leaving my dog is immense to me, don't know how will I bear all this

My marks are 316 in reneet ...so I am thinking about some private dental colleges in my range through All india counseling

I'M FROM PUNJAB & If in round 2 of all india counseling if I get a private dental college in Gujarat

In Round 2 -do they ask for accept or decline option or just straight away allot you that college?? & If i decline that college will i get my 2 lakh back ?

And if I want a private dental college in Noida in round 3...then do i need to travel to Gujarat's college in order to "submit willingness to upgrade" form? To get my 2 lakh security deposit back & to participate in round 3😶

Is this how counseling works?
