Chill Poker Night?

Was wondering if anyone knew of any chill poker nights in Norwich that were social/fairly low stakes? I know there’s nuts poker but they often go on quite late. Or would anyone be interested in setting a game up?

Looking for other musicians to jam?

I’m 28 and I play a few different instruments. Played drums in a band back in Leeds but now I play mostly guitar and bass in my bedroom and write tracks on ableton. Would love to meet some other people to play / write with, even if it wasn’t as serious as a ‘band’.

I know there’s a jam night once a month at last pub standing. Does anyone know of any others? Or would anyone fancy a jam at pirate or something? I’m mostly into indie like Arctic Monkeys, Fontaines, etc. here’s a little demo I was working on the other day to give an idea of the sound I like: https://soundcloud.com/robinrg/riff160526?si=d1b34f4ee35044d89d3dc76e0c2b032c&utm\_source=clipboard&utm\_medium=text&utm\_campaign=social\_sharing

Cheers!

Please can someone help me understand my nano cortex?

So, I’m pretty much a beginner when it comes to amps, cabs, etc. in general. I’ve been playing guitar for a few years but I’m a bedroom guitarist. I’ve only used DAWs, plugins, etc.

So I’ve got a nano cortex to help me explore more tones, and because I want to start going to a jam night near me, and I thought it would be cool to bring some cool tones.

But I’m a little overwhelmed. So I can download neural captures, but not IRs. And a lot of the time I don’t need an IR anyway, as long as the capture says ‘cab’ right? Im also confused by pedal captures, I can’t use them with an amp capture since they both occupy the capture slot, but you would never use a pedal without an amp, so how does that work?

I have tried reading through the guide/manual on Neural DSP’s website, but it seemed to assume a certain degree of prior knowledge which I don’t yet have. Would anyone be able to direct me to some resources where I can kind of read the basics?
