Is this a good roadbike for beginners?

So as the title suggests, I’m a complete newbie to biking as a sport. I’ve only ever done it to commute to and from school, work, etc.

However, I’m now looking into buying a proper roadbike and trying out the sport. Therefore I need some guidance on what to get, where I can try it out without splurging on something ridiculous, that doesn’t match my level.

I’m in pretty good shape because I run 25-30km a week (doing a half marathon in September) but I want to use my time on something other than running as well.

In the picture you see a pretty good looking bike - the Canyon Endurace Allroad (https://www.canyon.com/da-dk/landevejs-cykler/endurance-cykler/endurace/allroad/endurace-allroad/4477.html?dwvar\_4477\_pv\_rahmenfarbe=R138\_P01&dwvar\_4477\_pv\_rahmengroesse=M).
My questions to you guys are: Is this a good beginners bike? Would I need to upgrade in the near future or should it satisfy my needs as of right now? Is the difference between carbon and aluminium really that noticeable? Is this a good bike for the money?

Looking forward to getting some guidance! Thank you in advance :)
