Trueshot is simply too annoying to play against. It needs a rework.

While Trueshot can be played around, it is simply too frustrating to play against in it's current iteration in my opinion. You can't control if your teammates get hit and send 2 or even 4 (or even up to EIGHT if two enemies have the augment) trueshots your way.

It is anti-fun, even when you have trueshot yourself it's only kind of amusing at best. It encourages you to engage with the enemy as little as possible and reduces player vs player interaction.

Anyway feel free to suggest your own ideas. Here's mine:

>Trueshot Prodigy

>Hitting an enemy with a projectile beyond 500 range Reduces Autocast by 1 second.

>Every 15 seconds Autocast Focused Shot.

>Focused Shot: Buff lasts indefinitely, stacks infinitely.

>Your next projectile spell gains X range per stack. Hitting an enemy with a spell beyond 800 range will consume a stack firing a Trueshot Barrage in their direction.

>Levels:

>Combat Start Stacks: 0/1/2

>Spell Range increase per Stack: 10/25/50

>At Max Level: Fire an Omega blast when you hit an enemy beyond 1600 range.

>(Omega Blast Description completely missing, you'll have no idea what it does until you do it! Just like Riot would want, but it probably one shots the whole enemy team. Doesn't trigger with Karthus's ult and you'll have no way to know that until you try, thinking you're gonna cheese an easy win)

What this would do:

  • Balance out the strength early game by requiring most champions to stack first before having reliable range to trigger. Balances out late game strength by keeping the double trushot start, but not allowing an instant sextuple trueshot.

  • Players will now be incentivized to engage the enemy mid range at first to reduce autocast and stack the buff.

  • More in line strength wise with existing per round stacking augments.

  • No longer have separate champion cooldowns that can be hard to interpret.

  • Can still get two initial truseshots off once leveled but will never one shot the enemy as soon as the round starts.

  • 800 range trueshot proc gives enemies a slightly easier chance to dodge and truly requires a 'trueshot'.

  • Creates interesting synergies with Autocast Augments and Items because who doesn't like autocast shenanigans.

  • Creates rare (skill required) exodia situation if your team can keep you alive long enough for you to get the stacks needed to get the range needed to land the perfect shot all the way across the map to OMEGA BLAST because that's the kind of stupid shit I know you all really want.

  • Okay I'm done.

These URF level augments/items are ruining this mode. I just had a Reverberation game, 12 on-hit procs every engage. It's not fun to just one shot everyone I touch. I used to play arena for a fun challenge, now it's just "figure out what Rito broke" mode.
