Female artists
I came to the conclusion that I listen mainly to male artists/band (well I actually knew this since always but want to change it a bit). I love the beatles, pink floyd, SOD, radiohead, the strokes, arctic monkeys, ... I want to listening more to female artists... but I feel they orbit more towards soft pop music which is not so much my thing... please help
EDIT: thanks so much everyone for the suggestions!! I feel that I need to clarify that I do know and like female artists (janis joplin, aretha, Lauren hill, amy winehouse, billie holiday, billie eilish, maro and yes the list goes on). It is just that for most of these female artists I may love 5-10 songs whereas in the list of male bands that I mentioned above, I probably could list 20-50 or more songs of each of those bands that I know by heart... It was along these lines that I wondered if I was missing something and I am sure I am... So, sorry if you find my post offensive or ignorant...I don't care about the hate, at the end of the day if I find more good music, it was worth it!
