Facedown actions
Hello, I’m new to the game so sorry if I have missed this in the rules or the reddit anywhere. Some of the cards come with the additional action of adding a card into your inkwell facedown. I understand that all cards that are put into the inkwell are placed face down after showing the other players that it can be inked, so why does the action specify that the card should be placed facedown? Is this just to show that the card is ready to use rather than being exerted during the round it’s placed, or does this bypass the rule of cards needing to be ‘inkable’? I’m aware there was recently a new rule that cards should be placed face up in the inkwell for the duration of the turn which got me wondering why the cards used to specify face down.
