DO NOT PURCHASE FOSSIL
My dad gifted me a Fossil watch on my 19th birthday, bought directly from the store at full price. Just a little over two years later, the chronograph and second hand have stopped working, and even the clasp’s internal ring has broken. This is from normal use and no physical damage, mishandling, or fault on my part.
What makes it worse is that the service centre has quoted me ₹8,000 for repairs on a watch that originally cost ₹14,000. At that price, I could’ve bought a far better watch from that could have lasted me a lifetime.
While I was at the store there was another person who also had an issue with their watch and they also seemed pretty upset.
One may go for brands like Casio/hmt, the g-shock which I bought almost 10 years back still works like a charm till date.
