I just moved into a new house and am installing my roommate’s old dryer. I was putting on a new vent when I noticed the exhaust was taped on and was dented inside. At the old house the laundry room would get hot and humid when the dryer was on. Is it safe to tape back on or should I have someone come in to install it?
