need help, irregular asf, suspected pcos
14F, just got my period almost three years ago. I've never expected to have a normal cycle, i was (and am) an overweight kid with a dark neck and many other forms of hyperpigmentation. Only a handful of times did i ever experience a normal cycle which lasted for about 4-5 months thanks to my tracking with flo (but ever since then, i learned there are better apps). But after my period got irregular and it became unpredictable, i quit tracking. I wasn't much for trying. I was doing okay just gambling on when i was going to get it or not, and i had some times where i skipped a month or two or even just by a week and even then my period after that would be just fine.
It wasn't until my last normal period, two months ago, and two months later I got it again. Except this time its been since the end of april, beggining of may until now, which is nearly three weeks since i've had this horribly unpredictable period. Now I know, that should've been the first concern to visit a gyno or a pediatrician, the thing is i dont know any FEMALE gyno's near my area, and the last time I visited my pedia (I was 12), he told me that 5 day period IS NOWHERE NEAR normal, and that it should be three instead. idk. I just felt as if i shouldn't trust him after that.
Back to today. Each and every few days the flow is different. There was a point about a weeka go where I thought it was over since what i was seeing was the brown-ish colour, but then it comes back! I also have a history of UTI, and i feel like it is coming back and that might be significant to it? Also I suspect I have pcos, but my parents have a horrible history with finding good doctors, and just diagnosis in general (e.g, my mom is prediabetic and her clinic says to check for pcos but she REFUSES to be diagnosed, therefore not getting better, even though her siblings have it too). I struggle to lose weight even after calorie restrictions, extreme excersice, pcos friendly excercise, just walking after every meal, or muscle building. I have all the bodily signs. Maybe I am just diabetic, but I also notice my iron lowering a lot. When i stand up i get too dizzy yet i never faint, the skin beneath my eyes are pale, I am constantly pale. I am exhausted. I'll try to take vitamin C in hopes that it hels absorb iron better. I've also been drinking plenty, and i mean PLENTY of water!!
Not sure about endometriosis either, since I dont get cramps. At all.
I'm not asking for a confirmed diagnosis, just some help , suspections, or reccomendations as to what I should ask a doctor or gyno (if I find one), and possibly narrow this situation down. If you have questions about my diet, etc, you can ask but i can't guarantee you an answer because my cravings r always sugary as much as I try to prevent it, yet it still varies.
