I feel like a broken record but there has to be a way to get this game to work properly. I’m using a Freemcboot sd gen 2 from Kaico.

Issue: everytime I save my game to the memory card, all hell breaks loose, and my menu will freeze, the game will pause for no reason during a race. And if I so much as say “yes” to if I want to load my save game from the memory card, the menu will stop recognizing my controllers even plugged in.

If I unplug and reconnect my controller it will work for a bit, then same thing. But again it keeps pausing the game mid race. It’s like a ghost is hitting the start button on the controller!

What I’ve tried:

-3 different controllers
-3 different consoles
-2 different backups of the same game
-reformatted my sd card and started fresh

If there is anyone that can run ATV off-road fury perfectly and without issues. Please tell me how you’re doing it!

So update from my last question regarding ATV off-road fury 1 freezing on the main menu, and pausing mid race all the time. I tried a new SD card, and a different backup iso of the game all together. Popped it in my kaico card, and It worked flawlessly for a few races, and even was able to navigate the menu without any issue…until….. I went to save my progress to the kaico freemcboot card itself, then all heck broke loose. The menu stopped registering my button inputs all together!

So…would it be better to just put another memory card in slot 2 and use that for my saves instead?

I’ve searched high and low, and I seem to be the only man on the planet that is having this issue. As I’m in game, it pauses randomly. Yes, I will be mid race and it’s as if a ghost pushes the start button and pauses the game. There’s no other controllers connected, my fingers aren’t anywhere near the start button either. Has anyone had this issue at all?
