Picked these up for $50 😳

Just got this ps2 from work, got a pretty great deal on it!

Just console loose. But still absolutely insane find! Hope yall enjoy :)

Backstory:

I have been eyeing this console at a local game store for MONTHSSS never truly understood how "rare" it was until today. This console has always been in the back of my head since I first saw it, I knew it was something special but I couldn't have imagined how rare it was! So today I finally caved in and got it! I got it for 1k. I think it was absolutely worth it, given condition and speciality of the console! Let me know what yall think in the comments!

Question is should I soft mod it? (Most of the consoles in my collection are either hardmodded or softmodded by me) lmk what yall think would it hurt the value?

Hi all, new to the sub! I managed to grab these from a charity shop, 5 for a £1 .There where a few others, but nothing of real note. Any of these worth much or nah? All with their respective manuals.

Looking online, it's hard to guage any prices other than from cex.

Hey, so I'm about to spend a month in a nother part of the country near the beach, I will only bring a PS2 slim with me that I just got. I had one when I was younger so some of these games are for nostalgia, are these good games? My plan is to complete them all.

I have a panasonic Crt, i was just wondering if the image quality is what it’s supposed to be.

It works fine but this sound scares me and i don't really remember it, is it normal? If not what could it be? It only does it when loading a disc

This platforming, the unforgiving mechanics, having to grind out items, and game overs this game was deeply frustrating

I will say the anesthetic, some of the humor and the combat was actually pretty nice though

Found an old pic from the early 2010s of my childhood PS2 setup! My buddy at school gave me the ps2, I had that thing hooked up to the portable DVD player my uncle had got me years before, didn’t have a TV but it worked out ok 🤣 so many good memories playing on that ps2. I have no clue what happened to it, but after I turned 18 I moved 2500 miles and have lived in five states since so it is definitely lost. Wish I had kept better track of it and my games.

I know it’s not an issue with the TV as it runs my Wii just fine, I even bought the Retrovision Component Cable for it. How do I fix this?

Got this on eBay and I noticed it’s slightly different and has W folds instead of the traditional Y folds. The game came out 2009, and if I remember correctly, late PS2 games don’t have the security strip sticker because it was discontinued in the mid 2000s. I play this game as a kid back then and decided to buy a seal copy.
