Impulse pickup today on the way home, Twisted Metal CIB long Box

Went to the gun range today and picked this up on the way home from a game store I like to stop by at out there. Was surprised at the decent condition of the label/cover-art, how it hadn't peeled off yet, and it even came with the foam insert so I scooped it up for my collection!

Help with choosing a viewing spot near Fuentidueña

I'll be staying in Fuentidueña for the duration of the eclipse, and using topographical maps have tried to discern where the best viewing spot is. My hope is being out in the countryside will mean there's less crowds and traffic, but I'm still planning on arriving wherever site we end up choosing several hours before the start of totality. I have a few spots picked out, but I would like help narrowing them down.

#1 & 2 would essentially be us parking our car off to the side of the road on the grass or possibly a trail parking if it's available and view the eclipse from our "Nissan Qashqai or similar". #3 is the tallest point within the actual town of Fuentidueña and is adjacent to the church, but im not sure if crowds will be an issue or if the part of the town is even accessible to the public, but if it is we would hike to a viewing spot and set up chairs/cooler a few hours prior.

If there are any other spots in particular you would recommend, let me know. I do plan on checking them out the day before regardless to make sure we can view the sun at around the same time the next day.

Sourdough 80% hydration

400g KA Bread Flour

320g water

9g salt

160g starter

4 coil folds, 3 hours of bulk fermenting after coils, divided then 20min preshaping rest, 30min final proof in banneton, 10 min in freezer, then scored and baked on a pizza stone with a metal pan with water underneath for 28min, opening halfway to let steam out.

Better looking than my 100% hydration pan de crystal, but it's still lacking a crispy crust and it's likely due to how I'm baking with the pizza stone instead of a dutch oven, but I'm not sure. Either way, I'm happy with how these look.

Check the humidity of the room your collection is stored in, you may be surprised!

I knew humidity is the of the worst things for electronics and it's also what accelerates disc rot in CDs and DVDs, but I wasn't aware that my bedroom had such a humidity issue until I got curious with a Wifi/Bluetooth hygrometer. It was consistently going above 55% RH in the morning for a few hours every day(everything in red was above 55%).

This made me go through a rabbit hole of dehumidifiers so I will share this advice if you decide to go the same route: Do not bother buying small tabletop "dehumidifiers", make sure it's at minimum the size of the one you see in the picture,(it's rated for 30pints/day, the smallest that GE makes is rated for 22 pints/day) it should weigh like 30lbs and it may even have wheels on it(it's basically a small a/c). The tiny cheap ones on Amazon and Home depot often don't even have a rating, just telling you the capacity which says nothing of it's "dehumidifying" ability, so they're basically a scam. I have a condensate pump set up so that I don't have to constantly empty out the bucket, the hose leads outside.

The catch is that it's a couple hundred bucks for a new GE or Hisense dehumidifier, but I was able to find this one on FB Marketplace for $50, same with the pump. This entire project cost me less than a $120 and I believe it was worth it not only for the longevity of my collection, but also just generally managing dust and preventing mold in my bedroom.

How can I best easily display/stream/give access to my family archive of photos and videos to my distant relatives around the US and Puerto Rico?

Currently on my PC, I have the main copy of this 448GB archive of irreplaceable photos/videos of my family in a 14TB WD shucked white label HDD, along with my Plex library and important personal files. I mirror the folder anytime a something is added to an 8TB Ironwolf NAS HDD in the same PC using FreeFileSync. I also have that folder mirrored to a Synology DS220j NAS with another two 4TB Ironwolf HDDs in RAID 1 every couple of weeks, an ADATA HD710 1TB external HDD inside a Pelican case with desiccants inside a safe, and another external HDD kept in a safety deposit box at my bank both are kept updated/mirrored quarterly.

Given this archival setup, how can I easily give my distant family access to these photos and videos, including any new media added whenever I add & mirror across my backups?

I already use my main PC as a Plex Server locally, but I'm having a hard time accessing it outside of my house directly even with port forwarding enabled and I suspect it's because my ISP does not offer public IPs on residential accounts, only business accounts, so the connection is blocked by CGNAT.

Otherwise, I would just use Plex as it seems like the easiest integrated option, but I would like some help crowdsourcing solutions. Any advice is appreciated!

A poor-man's Faraday bag for the back-up I keep in my safety deposit box, it get's the main archive mirrored to it quarterly.

I know there are better solutions and that this most likely doesn't fully work the way I'm intending it to, but I figure it's at least marginally better than having no electromagnetic protection at all. The bag is made of duct tape and multiple layers of aluminum foil.

Latest pickup! Rayman Long Box

I only recently found out about these original PS1 long box cases and I found Rayman in immaculate condition compared to most other long boxes I've seen in general being sold.

[GBA Pokémon Sapphire] Roulette spin, looks legit, but something feels off so I'm asking for verification.

The board seems suck to the backside of the cartridge. She says that the battery is dry so I would need to replace it. I haven't plugged this into my gameboy yet, so I have no idea if it even works, but I do have 7 days to return it. My fear is that it secretly has water damage and that's why the board is stuck, but I'm not sure.

The latest pickup for my collection and a blast from the past!

My uncle showed me this when I was a kid and I was equal parts terrfied of the artstyle/themes and amazed at how fun a simple it plays. Even now, playing it with my fiance is a ton of fun!

My small GBA collection

I don't plan on buying anymore GBA games after Sapphire, since these are all the titles I ever wanted. I MAY pickup FFVI and Mario Kart to round-out the racing and jrpg gaps, but I have other consoles that fills those needs.

My roth is with Schawb in general and the lower stock price helps me allocate my exposure more finely. I'm curious as to whether there is any other serious consideration long-term by having most of my ETFs with Schwab or if it even matters at all.

I'm traveling through the north of Spain in August for the solar eclipse and specifically I'll be in Fuentidueña for the eclipse. Looking at topographical elevation maps of the area, the Castle ruins are the tallest point in the area, but I now see a review for that landmark that a fence was put up about 5months ago and is no longer able to be entered?

Am I still able to walk/hike the perimeter of the hillside to have a good view of the sunsetting eclipse?

This eclipse will be low in the sky when it happens so I need a good vantage point if that hilltop isn't accessible.
