Title: Subnautica 2 Instant crash on launch - Day 1 - Ryzen 9800X3D / RX 9070 XT

Hi everyone, I’m unable to launch Subnautica 2. Every time I start the game, it crashes after a few seconds with the error: "Your game might not have exited correctly". I tried to launch it yesterday (before release) and I've been stuck since.

My Specs:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
  • Mobo: Gigabyte (Latest BIOS from May 2026)
  • Storage: NVMe SSD
  • OS: Windows 11

Everything I’ve tried so far:

  1. Fresh Install: Completely uninstalled the game, deleted the folder in steamapps/common, and reinstalled.
  2. AppData Wipe: Deleted the %localappdata%\Subnautica2 folder to clear any corrupted config/cache from my pre-release attempts.
  3. BIOS & Drivers: Updated BIOS to the latest version (May 2026). Updated all Chipset drivers and tried latest AMD GPU drivers.
  4. Admin Mode: Tried running the executable as Administrator directly from the Binaries folder.
  5. Files Integrity: Verified game files on Steam multiple times.
  6. Overlays: Disabled Razer Cortex, MSI Afterburner, and Discord overlays.
  7. Launch Options: Tried forcing -dx12, and -windowed via Steam launch options.

Despite all this, the game still won't reach the main menu. A friend with the same GPU but a 7600X3D can run the game fine. Is there a known issue with Zen 5 (9800X3D) or some specific conflict I'm missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
