Aftermarket rear camera
Hi everyone! Just recently joined the mazda 2 club!
I’m considering buying an aftermarket rear camera for my mazda 2 (DJ from 2017, with Mazda Connect Infotainment, I live in Germany).
I couldn’t find much on internet or yt, but I read that is relatively doable DIY kind of thing, so I’d try doing it myself and save a bunch of money if possible.
Still, is my first experience with this kind of stuff so I wanted to first ask for advice to anyone here with some experience with it (especially regarding how to pass the cable from the infotainment to the back of the car)
I know I’d specifically need a camera suited with 28pin cable, and not generical cheap cameras.
If anyone has even the smallest piece of advice about what to be careful of, or some sort of guide on internet, it would be really helpful!
