FedEx is so incompetent it's funny.
I just noticed a package on my front porch, to my surprise, as I'm not expecting anything. It's from FedEx, and it's for my neighbor across the street.
Both of us have our house numbers very clearly affixed to our mailboxes, which themselves very clearly belong to the associated houses. Our properties are across and down the road about 200yds from each other. It's not like we're right beside each other. Not just that, but my house number is displayed in 4 inch tall black, plastic numbers on a reflective white background on the wall LITERALLY RIGHT above the spot he put the package in the porch.
I was also curious how the driver got the package to the front door without setting off my driveway alarm, so I pulled up camera footage. Turns out he was too scared to drive his truck through our gate opening. Mind you, UPS delivers multiple times a month and has never once had an issue with our gate opening. Even countless other FedEx drivers have managed it over the years, as well as countless other large trucks and equipment. Yet this is at least the 3rd time a FedEx driver has been too scared to attempt it. And yes, the gate was open! The controller doesn't even work right now, so I couldn't close it if I wanted to.
You'll always see FedEx employees in the replies on this sub, desperately trying to make excuses for the drivers. Sometimes the drivers really are that incompetent. 🤷🏻♂️🤣
