So I’ve two very expensive packages that were shipped fully insured and signature required…they attempted to deliver when I wasn’t home so the next day I went to the post office - they said they didn’t have them - must still be on the truck - so when the mail was delivered I was here waiting and he said they were at the post office - now 5 weeks later and many service requests and missing mail search the local post office says they can’t find them and to file a claim - which I did -
First insurance denial - reason - says it was delivered - even though signature required and the tracking show it not delivered (still shows redelivery scheduled right now 5 weeks later)
Second insurance denial - reason - tracking says out for deliver after 3 weeks from date of shipment
So my last and second appeal which I submitted the email the local post office sent me as part of the search request is still pending after 3 weeks - my question is this - if they deny it for the last time - is there any recourse after the 2nd appeal? Like the first denial was totally incorrect and when I asked the accounting dept how they could claim it was delivered she told me “let’s be honest , it was probably a computer that did that” .
