Girl comforted me, then posted a video of the moment without my concent

Yesterday I was having a really bad moment something happened me and between my guy and we were not talking since last 3 days and I was like okay I'll just clear this thing what's happening with him and I was calling him and he didn't pick up my calls or didn't even text me because nothing like this had ever happened between us even if we are angry or don't wanna talk we just say it I don't wanna talk right now don't call me and I finally got some peace sitting in a bus I was like okay now I'll call him in little peace and it was just cutting and I was like calling him and it was just cutting at this point I was scared for him that something might have happened with him ( he was actually very sick and was cutting calls while half asleep later same evening he had called me and told everything to me what was happening and compensated me quite well emotionally and with nice food ). A girl came up to me, when I got down the bus and just said relax nothing has happened it's okay I saw you can I just hug you, she hugged me, we didn't even talk just exchanged numbers and honestly she was very kind to me.

We exchanged numbers and she even said we should hang out again/go on a date sometime. We ended up talking deeply in evening on text and I even told her we could become really close friends.

Later she texted me saying she had recorded a video story of me calling my boyfriend and that she felt bad for me. Then she admitted she had posted a video from that moment on her own story.

That’s where things got uncomfortable for me.

I and him both come from a pretty private background and even while calling him I was literally sitting in a corner then calling him and that girl no one else but that girl idk from where looked into my phone reading my chats and idk what and she recorded me and posted my video and then came to me doing all that comforting and when I asked her ki okay fine just show me once what you posted about me she just started spiralling it was a story 24 hrs had happened so it was gone oh no I deleted it then she's like no no no it was on Snapchat one time view I literally don't trust that girl at all with those changing words

Then I was like okay just like girl you can't post anything about me or him we come from a background even our friends ask us before posting a picture of us and even if we meet new people even they don't post any picture with us Or anything

And this girl

She had the audacity to tell me

if that's this much private you shouldn't be doing that in public.(just making you aware)

Like shouldn't be doing what

I was like

(Are you seriously trying to blame me for your choice to record me? I have every right to use my phone call my guy and have emotions. What anyone don't have is the right to violate a stranger's privacy, and film them without their knowledge, and put them on social media. That is what shouldn't be done.)

And I wasn't even showing emotions if anyone here comes at me you shouldn't have had emotions in public I'll clear I was calling my guy and I was just calling and I had a pissed face that's it nothing else

And idk before I used to live in delhi and nothing like this ever happened with me there one time I was crying on a rapido because of my boss even then also but here idk why everyone feels if you are in public space with people around you have right to interfere with people's pvt life record them without concent and post their video online I literally didn't react to her and just told her you shouldn't hve done that and just delete it from everywhere and of someone else has it get it removed just

But in my heart I'm like I swear if it affects us ever because I know it can if it gets to people from our respective industries I'll idk what I'll do with her.

I just wanted to share about this incident and wanna tell people don't just don't get into someone pvt just to get some content out of it and post others life online it's invasion of privacy you don't know what background anyone has these kind of things can seriously affect like people from fashion or business backgrounds if some fake narrative gets set around anything.

Recently interviewed at a start-up and they asked me to work 60hrs a week and when I asked about whether we get overtime compensation HR told me “if you want work-life balance it’s your choice” ( gurgaon start-up)

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a recent hiring experience I had with a Gurgaon-based early-stage startup and get opinions if this is normal or a red flag.

I was approached for a social media role. HR initially said the working hours are 9–7.When I calculated it, if it’s Mon–Sat, that already becomes 60 hours/week.

So I asked politely if there’s an alternate Saturday off / comp-off structure, or if overtime is compensated.

Their reply was basically:

“9–6 fixed working hours”

“6–7 extra timings for pending tasks”

“It’s an early stage startup, we need people who want to build and learn”

“If you prefer work life balance it’s your choice completely”

When I clarified that I understand startup culture (I’m currently working in a startup that operates in India + Canada) where by the way I work 9-5, but I wanted clarity on overtime/comp-off policy, HR ended the conversation with:

“Your expectations and our requirements are not aligning. Will let you know if any such opportunity arises in future.”

I’m not even demanding less working hours or anything a strict 9–7 I’m fine with that extra work during deadlines. But the way they dismissed a basic question about working hours and compensation felt like a huge red flag.

Is this kind of response normal in Gurgaon startups?

Or did I dodge a bullet?

Would love to know how others handle this situation.

I also checked that normal working hours are generally capped at around 48 hrs/week and anything beyond that is supposed to be overtime/comp-off depending on company policy/state rules. That’s why I asked for clarity.
