How to handle gym cancellation

Gym owner texted that they had no power and 6 am class was cancelled.

I had already driven to the gym and checked in before class, not realizing there was no power and not getting the text until afterwards.

Wellhub tells me because I checked in, I'm without a class today (which to me is far better than risking no classes the rest of the month for no check in).

Customer service says I should've never checked in and instead should've waited to be a no show, send proof of the gym cancellation text, and they could've given me a new check in for the day.

So hopefully this serves someone here in the future because the fact they don't have the power, with proof, to let me check in somewhere else today is a lousy policy.

2 loud pops and no power

78660 Saxony area, heads one loud pop about 15 minutes ago and immediately lost power. Heard a 2nd loud pop from what seemed like the opposite direction of the 1st around 5 minutes ago. Neighbors to my left are out, I don't know about anyone else. I notified oncor via text just curious if outage is more widespread.

After 35 check ins and about 2.5 months of use, I missed a check in on the app for a class I attended. I took a phone call after the workout and didn't see the reminder check in text until it was too late.

I used the chat feature and quickly was given a first-time pass on the missed check in.

I have to say despite all the negative things instead here, I absolutely love this app and the customer service so far. I would've paid the fee (because it was my fault), and I really appreciate the one-time waiver.

Trying so many new programs has been a game changer for my health and fitness as well.

So thanks, Wellhub!
