Original character i made a while ago, not much about the design but only focused on the lore.
Lore for anyone interested;
When the idea of nothingness even existed, there exists three gods. All of them sought out to create one being that will protect the real world. Upon it's creation the first god told him
"Have faith in me child, for I return with humanity i will bring you salvation" The second said "Carry this duty, abandon it and you may bring shame on me"
And the last said "Beast, find your own peace and freedom. When you think is right, act for yourself"
Aeternus is a being of incomprehensible power, he's a meta being.
He protects US, us as in you and i reading this. Think of him as a concept, gravity has no appearance shape or sound but we feel it's effects, the same applies to him. (At the end of the day still a story) He protects us and our reality from being swallowed by cosmic deities. One of which is a tyrant, drenched in crimson red with eyes growing all over it's body, and antlers for a crown.
Or a glowing deadlights that drives the victim mad.
Aeternus has various abilities, one of which is the eternal gaze.
This allows him to see the past, present and future and haves all information throughout all multiverses and timelines.
His breath is hot enough to burn down ideas, concepts, thoughts and structures that existed beyond reality.
Despite it's immense strength, Aeternus only longs for one thing. Freedom, due to the contradicting words of the gods, he does not know what to do. He does not know where to go and what he should be doing but to protect.
He envy us humans for being so small and fragile yet so full of life.
He one day hopes to meet us and experience something other than battle, even for a brief moment.
