Help with tortoise
Hello everybody, this is my first time taking care of a tortoise, and I want to provide it with a good life. I live in the st Pete are and was wondering what would bet be best tortoise for me, I haven’t bought one since I want to make sure I have the right resources and things first. My idea is to have like an array of kiddie pools connected to kinda give it its own world. I currently have one growing some Bermuda grass seeds which I heard was good for them (picture attached) I don’t want too big of a tortoise and I was considering maybe 2 of them so they’re not lonely. Obviously I’m gonna set up the entire habitat before purchasing anything, but I just want to know what to get and the best set up possible. Not to mention the species aswell, so it can be comfortable surviving outside and not be too big to outgrow the idea I have. If there are any more questions I’d love to answer and I appreciate any criticism or advice so I can give it the best life possible.
