Can any senior please help out with the cost calculations and if they are correct??
so let's say I don't get a scholarship in IT branch. The fees comes out to be a total of 23l approx assuming a base of 5,67,000(including an increase of 8% per year as mentioned)
I'm assuming hostel/pg + mess as 3l per year so it comes out to be 12l
Let's say travel costs + pocket money per year is 60k so the 4 year cost comes out to be 2,40,000
The final cost comes out to be an absurd 39.4l.
Are the calculation correct?
And can someone tell me about the placements scenario? how is it in the cse/it branches??
And I have the option of joining srm ktr of which the total comes out to be approx 30l. Is that worth it?
