Opening personal whatabts to work?
So my senior just talked to me. Telling me I am so reserved(?) Like okay I have communication issues. I am working on it. I appreciate that she directly addressed it to me. But she mentioned I should share or talk to right people at work about my personal life. Sharing personal things esp things happening at home is a NO NO to me. Some context, I am a kind of co-worker always using PTO and if I get any chance to go home early I def would. Its like taking OT somewhat mandatory and if u refused to do overtime against given schedule, it feels like u did a mortal sin. And that was why I had a reputation somewhat irresponsible. I just like to have a life outside work ya'll🥹 Anyway, I appreciate how she addressed things but in terms of work, I do not want to mix my personal life to work life. No thank you!
