Hi all,

I’m thinking of moving from Toronto (consulting, $70k CAD) to SF for a business development/sales role paying $120k USD base + commission. It’s a bit of a title step down, but breaking into the US market has always been a goal of mine.

Lifestyle-wise, I’d want a comfortable studio/ 1 bedroom, money for dining out, activities, and personal expenses.

Is this doable in SF right now? Would love a reality check from locals or anyone who’s made a similar move. Budget breakdowns and career advice both welcome!
