Vibrant Wellness Tick-born illness 1.0-Faulty Results?
Recently I took a Lyme test through Vibrant Wellness and a lot of markers were elevated for IgG antibodies as well as an elevation for a current infection (IgM). The picture above shows the different strains being elevated in the IgG column alongside one current infection which is Borrelia spielmanii.
I live in Oregon and have no recollection of having a tick and from my knowledge I understand that Lyme disease and Co-infections are pretty rare on the West Coast. With that said, some of these previous infections listed below are not found in Oregon or even the United States. My supposed current infection is listed as Borrelia spielmanii which is found in Central/Eastern Europe.
My questions are: is this infection possible given my absence from Europe?
Is it possible or plausible these readings are wrong given I also have high readings on Mono IgG and some Leaky gut problems which may create false positives?
Does IgG markers really matter for Lyme?
I am not well versed in Lyme disease and doctors really seem to be illiterate on this subject. I have more specific pictures if needed as well. So any insight is helpful. Thanks.
