My struggle to get high intent users

Context:

I'm currently handling Marketing & Strategy for a SaaS company. I don’t have a formal background in marketing, so I’m learning as I go. The product itself is genuinely useful and saves a lot of time for the intended user, but it’s not exactly solving a massive, urgent pain point.

We’ve faced a lot of issues, but the primary one is that we haven’t been able to get high-intent or paying users since launch (around April). We’ve had roughly 30 users so far, but most of them were low-intent signups from Reddit. We’re also heavily bootstrapped, so AWS costs and maintenance are becoming a serious issue.

The product:

The product is more of a productivity/workflow tool rather than a full editing software. Its purpose is to reduce the amount of time teams, especially onboarding and customer success teams, spend creating and sending walkthrough recordings.

It uses lightweight visual effects (focus effects, zooms, highlights, etc.) to help communicate the maximum amount of information in the least amount of time and make walkthroughs easier to follow.

Our current ICPs are onboarding and customer success teams, although we realized this positioning a bit later than we should have.

So my question is:

How do I actually get high-intent paying users instead of random signups?

I know there’s probably a lot of context I’m missing here, so I’m happy to answer questions or provide more details if needed.

Any advice would genuinely help a lot.
