i got 7 days of doxy and my doctor said i don’t need azithromycin, however when i went the first time to pick up my 1g of az the pharmacy gave me 6 pills. therefore, i have 4 500mg pills of az left. after i finish the doxy, should i just take 1g of az or how many of the should i take?
hello, i was diagnosed with ureaplasma in 2024 and took levofloxacin. i was good up until this past march. i took medication (1g of azithromycin) and was fine until this month. i’ve now had it twice, even with protected sec and a new partner. is it possible the 1g wasn’t enough and didn’t completely heal me? should i advocate for a different medication? i’m going to try to see my obgyn this week instead of going to urgent care. pls any advice is welcome! i also was told i have an overgrowth of lactobacillus so ive been taking baking soda baths for that
hi all! i was first infected last january. i have had ureaplasma once again march of this year and again a few weeks ago. the first 3 times was because of unprotected sex (i know) but i recently had protected sex twice and the second time i think has reinfected me!! i waited 2 weeks after finishing my antibiotics from my most recent infection to have sex, and i do everything right. i wear cotton panties, take probiotics, drink water, i don’t know what the problem is. i feel like everytime i have sex i end up with problems. i am going to get tested today but am so tired of spending money on doctors. if anyone has any advice pls help
**also i have taken a one day dose of 2 azithromycin pills for each infection except the first. i was given levofloxacin for the first infection
