Single in Seattle? Let me set you up! (FIRST MATCH FREE)

Dear Seattle Singles!

A few weeks ago, I started a matchmaking project using this form and Seattle singles genuinely surprised me with their warmth and candor.

I have a few updates:

  1. People are going on first and second and third and fourth dates!!! YAYY! You know what that means? People are awesome and down to connect with other awesome people! Who would have thought?

  2. What makes it easier to match people? Some patterns I have noticed that I would like to share. State your BIG dealbreakers clearly and directly, but at the same time, please know there is a fair amount of variation that comes with humans naturally. They may not have your exact same hobbies or love the same music as you do, or run at your exact pace, or even play your very favorite video game. If you are flexible on the specifics but detailed on values, you may surprise yourself and find a strong connection. (This is not to say that shared interests don't count, they do but think carefully about what really matters to you. You know yourself best).

  3. You can now upload a single full-body picture (OPTIONAL). Pictures may be exchanged with your match only if they also choose to share their picture.

  4. If you haven't heard back from me, please know that I'm waiting to find the right match for you. I plan to reach out to everyone within a month of filling the form. Please feel free to share it with single people you know -- a bigger pool means much better matches (generally) for everyone.

Cheers!

Single in Seattle? Let me set you up! (FREE)

Dear Seattle Singles!

My friends and I have rinsed and repeated through many dating apps over the last couple of years, and not gonna lie, have had some horrific to good to great experiences. However, it's not cutting it when it comes to finding a long-term match! (Kudos and congrats to those who've had it work for them!).

So I'm on a mission to do some fun matchmaking based not on photos, but values and personality (I KNOW, we've heard it before but let me cook!). So if you're single and 25-45 yo, please fill this form and I will try to use some black magic (no, I don't mean AI) and find you a date! No promises, but it might be better than the apps!

If there's enough interest, I would also like to organize a mixer some day, hopefully soon!

Currently accepting ages 25-45. This is very much an experiment, so I'm going to leave the form open till July 31 and will come back to update you all on how it goes! Happy to answer any questions in comments and/or DMs but will only respond to those that I deem useful.

P.S. 1. The form is not short (7-10 min), but it's worth it! Plus you get a copy of your responses for your own use.

P.S. 2. Even if I can't find you a match, I WILL get back to you if you complete the form.

P.S. 3. Yes, I am working on a friendship edition of this too! I had initially thought of keeping it open-ended, but got feedback that many people prefer those to be separate.
