Did Steve Chen drop out of IMSA or get kicked out?

I'm confused as to what happened; I know Steve Chen attended IMSA but many upperclassmen act as if it is common knowledge that he did not graduate from IMSA, saying that he got kicked out or something. The IN2 donation makes me think he left on good terms if he did leave. Online sources all say he graduated but IMSA has been known to cover shady things up when a person has enough money (or their parents do, either works), so I wanted to ask if anyone can answer for sure. If this is a joke that I did not pick up on, I apologize in advance lmao

I Have Never Had a Vaccine (Not my fault I swear)

I don't know where else to put this so bear with me. I've never had a single vaccine. No MMR, no flu shot, no HPV, no tDap, nothing. This, however, is not my fault.

For context, my mom was actually a nurse before I was born, she quit when I came along, and she decided that she didn’t want any of her kids to have vaccines (I’m the first of many and none of us are vaccinated).

She's fairly conservative which is definitely connected to this; she’s very much an RFK jr groupie. Since I was really young she has always stressed that if a nurse or anyone tries to give me a vaccine that I should scream and make a fuss because they “have heavy metals” or “cause allergies” or “weaken your immune system.”

I’m just so perplexed as to how one makes it through a nursing degree and works in the ER for 13 years but comes to the conclusion that she should not vaccinate herself or her children.

We all get sports physicals every year, with no pushback at all so it’s not just being completely against anything in the medical field. It's specifically anything beyond that veryyyyy low baseline. I've brought up mental health stuff I was dealing with and she scoffed at even seeing a counselor for a consultation. I also think/thought I might have PCOS, though I can't confirm that because I haven't been able to actually get evaluated, and when I mentioned it to her she was dismissive there too, like it wasn't worth pursuing or even considering.

I can't actually fix any of this myself right now, because I'm not old enough to consent to my own medical care without her. So I know exactly what's missing and why, and there's nothing to do about it except wait until I'm old enough to make my own appointments. I feel really guilty for potentially coming in contact with high risk people and just not doing my due diligence in regards to med stuff but I’m at an impasse for now.

I’m glad I was finally able to write this out. If anyone else grew up in a similar situation, curious how you dealt with the waiting part or if there is anything I can do.

The dinner is boring; it’s just a gluten free sugar cookie I made but I really needed to go to Aldi today and haven’t lol
