Nevermo here. My community has recently experienced a very controversial temple build, and I’ve noticed in the last year that regular Mormons (not active missionaries) are wearing name tags around. For example, a lady was teaching a little class-workshop for a homeschool group, and she wore her name tag while teaching (it was at her house and had nothing to do with the church). I went to a community choir performance and noticed a lady wore her name tag. Another time, I was at a meeting and saw a lady wearing a name tag there.

What’s with this? I grew up around a lot of Mormons and I never noticed this until this past year. Are they trying extra hard because everyone’s mad about their ugly temples?
